I’m excited to bring Piano Lumière back to Pittsburgh this October with a Halloween-inspired concert for two and three pianos, surrounded by thousands of candles.
Dr. Kevin Lee Sun and I will present Piano Lumière: Halloween at Duquesne University’s PNC Recital Hall on Saturday, October 17 at 7:00 PM and Sunday, October 18 at 3:00 PM.
We’ve put together a 75-minute program featuring some of classical music’s most dramatic works, including Saint-Saëns’ Danse macabre, Rachmaninoff’s Tarantella, Bach’s famous Toccata, and a rare three-piano arrangement of Liszt’s Totentanz.
We’ll also be joined by special guests Dr. Nathalia Kato Giordano and Zoey Wolfe, along with several young musicians from my Presto Piano Studio. Some of my students will even join us on stage for a piano comedy segment!
